It's a shame that I didn't discover him years ago, as then I would have realized my debt EMERGENCY sooner! In fact, I think it was the discovery of MMM that prompted me to write this blog. The Debt War is really bigger than me, it effects so much of society and, frankly, we need to share INTEL!joe5mchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13381588340232280771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3781995839246169257.post-69932891322299776682016-06-29T22:58:03.719-07:002016-06-29T22:58:03.719-07:00Well done Joe, well done!
Like David said, it is ...Well done Joe, well done!

Like David said, it is good to have savings, so keep up the new found habits and invest the money (it will be good to have compound interest working FOR you!)

There is a multi billion dollar/pound industry that is designed to separate you from your $$$ (i.e. Marketing), so don't feel bad about getting into debt.

If you need an ally, look to "MrMoneyMustache" (google it). His blog helped me to become more financially independent. Your post has inspired me to seriously look at my lead mountain and I have far too many books. I had not found a reasonable way to sell the books until you mentioned Webuybooks.co.uk. I thought me important lessons in frugality.

To anyone reading this. It is a war. A war to get you into debt and keep you there! Don't put your head in the stand and take the steps to beat the debt. There are many debt charities out there. In the UK I found Step change is one of the best. It's time to start digging out the collections which never are displayed ( a home is just so big) & work through like yourself, miniatures you will never get too. I am starting with model kits (some of which I bought while I was stationed in Germany in the 80's!) & find new homes for them, where they may actually sit on a shelf built vs in the box.

Cheers!Terry Silverthornhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02873668652853883440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3781995839246169257.post-14462239262447280322016-06-13T09:14:16.459-07:002016-06-13T09:14:16.459-07:00As a bonus, I am sure your home looks less clutter...As a bonus, I am sure your home looks less cluttered now. :)captain arjunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08242730277113727477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3781995839246169257.post-40575895068103452542016-06-13T08:17:00.969-07:002016-06-13T08:17:00.969-07:00I won my personal 4500€ war in 30mounths... revolv...I won my personal 4500€ war in 30mounths... revolving credit cards with ascending limits are pervert chaotic evil beasts

Now I ve only a rechargeble Visa :)

Neddoscopehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05882037210891433464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3781995839246169257.post-79173233954578665742016-06-13T05:11:16.706-07:002016-06-13T05:11:16.706-07:00Well done for being so open & honest, and for ...Well done for being so open & honest, and for your heartfelt advice not to buy!
