Frostgrave: Dark Alchemy is now available!

An exciting day, the newest ebook mini-supplement for Frostgrave is now available! This supplement is a bit more experimental for me as it includes a three-scenario campaign designed to be played either solo or by two players playing co-operatively. It also contains new rules for potions. Not bad for £3!

Download your copy today!

From Amazon (for you Kindle lovers!)

From RPGNow (for the PDF)

  5. Bought and read! Great addition, there's a few players in my group who are really attracted to the possibility of co-op play in the Lich Lord campaign (at the end) so I think this'll go down well with them.

  6. Hello from Argentine.
The last Friday we tried this rules. We played the two players rules with a friend.
The game was really fun. It was new and different to argue with my friend about how to kill or run form the alchemy monstrosity, instead of just fighting and killing each other.
At first, we thought the games was going to be easy, that we could just hide and dodge the creatures. But when the rats started to paile up and we had to move to the other door because the first one was close, the situation became more tense.
We realize that the random movement system, although it seems to be very erratic at first, make the game different depending on the luck and on how you put the scenery on the table. This make the game exciting even though you already played it.
This system is also great for 2 thinks: 1) of you want to introduce a tabletop RPG player to the wargame world, I am sure this rule will like him. It really feels like a party entering a dungeon. 2) if a new player wants to enter a competitive campaign where the other wizards already have some levela, this is a good way to level up a wizard while teaching the game and having fun. Maybe you can make him take most of the treasures and/or help him kill the creatures, etc.
I highly recommend this supplement. It really fun and dynamic. I am sure you will enjoy it.
Here i will leave a link with some photos of the game: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=943999932388174&id=146862942101881

  7. I'm just getting into Frostgrave and love that there is these small supplements to add to the game. Do you know if Osprey plan on releasing a physical copy as I don't have a decent phone or tablet to have at the table?

  8. I should say, I don't expect Osprey to release physical copies of each small supplement, I was thinking more like a compendium.

    3. Great to hear, will love it when you release the compendium, now just gotta justify buying this on digital now and not waiting. I do love the idea of co-oping.

  10. That is fantastic to hear. I just downloaded Dark Alchemy just now and love the ideas in it. Definitely going to do a few of my own co-op scenarios too. Thanks

  11. Hi,
I have downloaded this addon. It's fantastic, I have made the first scenario, it's cool. I'm alone to play, so it's cool to play alone. If in future you make another scenario, it will be excellent.

    Thx

  12. Glad you like it. I hope to do more in the future, but it takes a lot more time to write solo scenarios than competitive ones!
