I recently received an ‘advance test sprue’ of the
forthcoming goblin wolf riders for Oathmark. I admit, I’ve been looking forward to these,
so I quickly put one together to paint. I didn’t have any of the official
bases, so I just grabbed what was at hand.
As I’m obviously biased, I’ll just let the photographs do the rest of the talking. I believe the figures will be officially released early next year.
Damn, those wolf rider minis are nice... good paint job too !

Nice paint job. I'm starting to feel the hype for Oathmark now. After analysing the heck out of Frostgrave, Ghost and Rangers mechanics (and enjoying actually playing them) I'm keen to see how you do mass battles.
ReplyDeleteThe minis have a retro/classic feel and style which has been a hit in lots of other forums the last 5+ years now, so I hope they do well. Some miss the mark for me, like these chubby wolves, or the Heavy Dwarf infantry, but no range ever nails it 100%. GW LOTR certainly have some clangers.

DeleteDo you have any hints what the Dwarf Cavalry might ride? I'm hoping for Longhorn Goats, or vicious ponies.
