Spellcaster Update

Just a quick update. First a big thank you to everyone who has purchased Issue 2. The issue spent several days at the top of RPGNow's best-sellers list, and has picked up a 'Popular Silver Pick' award.

The good news is, the Print-on-Demand version is now available. I got my proof copy in the mail yesterday, and I've got to say it looks pretty good. Okay, it's not up to the standards of traditional printing, but it is a very satisfying, perfect bound, little booklet.

On the downside, our battles with Kindle continue. We think we are closing in on a solution, but I am still hesitant to give a specific date for this.

Anyone been killed by a dragon yet?

  3. I would like to see rules for standard bearers in a future edition. I use Egyptian fantasy minis and I own some cool standard bearers I'd like to see on the tabletop.

  4. Print version showed up at my house today. The print quality definitely exceeded my expectations. I'd love an option to purchase a print on demand version of the 1st issue. Thanks Joe!

  6. Got Issue 2. Well done! Also got the print version and at first I thought it was a bit small but I actually really like it. Very easy to handle.

Question about mechs...if the critical hit (19) results in a reactor hit, how do I treat the pilots in this case? Do the pilots have their own stats?

  7. Many thanks! In the case of a reactor hit, i would give the pilot a chance to eject (11+ Roll). If the roll fails, he goes up with the Mech. If successful, he lives to fight another day. He won't matter in the rest of the scenario as he'll have no weapons who can hurt a mech. Pilots will have a Fight and Shoot Stat thaht will be added into their mech's inherent systems.
